ABOUT LHEARN
LHEARN will transform Lakeridge Health into a Satellite Inter-Professional Health Science Centre. In partnership with academic and community partners, LHEARN will be the hub for inter-professional healthcare education and research. Its aim is to:
- Become a network of high-tech teaching and learning facilities
- Enhance its profile as an innovative and learning organization
- Advance inter-professional practice
- Foster knowledge translation through integrated education and research
- Imbed a culture of learning and inquiry as a core competency of healthcare professionals
- Develop and promote innovative healthcare delivery models
- Continue to develop best practices at clinician and organizational levels
